This post is mainly to review the restaurants in Breck — the local’s term for Breckenridge, and to give you a tip on which are best!
We haven’t gone to that many restaurants in Breck, but I definitely have a favorite. Aurum is totally the best in probably all Colorado! We had parker house rolls and crispy curried cauliflower for appetizers — which I definitely urge you to have! For main dishes the Rocky Mountain trout is probably the most beautiful dish on the menu as well as being REALLY good. Then the toasted quinoa vegetable stew is basically chili, and it sounds like adulty food, but being a kid, I would recommend this especially for kids — and adults too! This dish has to be five stars. The other dish here that’s notable is the house made pasta rotante that is just amazing! Great homemade pasta with roasted tomatoes on top and some microgreens. Keep in mind that this menu will probably not be the same if you come here though — unless you come in winter!

The next best place is a vegan pizza place called Pianté, which means plant in Italian. The vegan pizza is great, although some might find the cashew based cheese a little weird. One of the best garlic knots I’ve ever had was there, too. Probably the coolest thing is that they have heated bubbles called Alpenglobes outside that you can eat in all to yourself! Make sure to reserve these way in advance though; they book up fast!!! Also be sure to get there early, because then you can request the bubble on the right which has a sweeping view of the main street in Breckenridge with the slopes behind. I hope you enjoy restaurants in Breck!

And if you go to Aspen, you have to go to a restaurant called Bear Den!! It is on a nice street with an awesome view of the mountain. It is cozy and awesome, serves dinner, lunch, and totally my favorite breakfast! If you go to Aspen, or anywhere in the area, you have to try Bear Den!!
